We really enjoyed the balcony and the view. The view wasn't the breath-taking, but it was peaceful, looking into the surrounding neighborhood. It was extremely quiet, if you need that. The distance of the hotel from Düsseldorf is only a few minutes drive and the distance from the Holland border and quaint little towns with canals and discount designer malls is less than an hour's drive. The breakfast buffet was not so big, which made it not too overwhelming, but it was very nice.
I expected, as from the picture and description on the site, a double or large bed. Instead, my husband and I had two twin beds pushed together. This was extremely uncomfortable since there was the wooden sides of the bed running straight down the middle between us and you hurt yourself rolling over too far.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.
During my stay there the hotel was fully booked and there were no irons available to iron my clothes which was a problem as I had to attend a conference. However, eventually the staff were able to locate an iron for my use at the last minute. This is the only negative I have about this hotel.

It was quiet, had an elevator, good help at the desk for info for getting into the city- 5 min walk to the train, 1 min walk to the bus stop. The hotel itself is relaxing close to the city, but out of the city far enough to have less noise or traffic.
The breakfast should have been apart of the price to stay there, not an extra 6 euro'S... Should have been free with stay at hotel.

The friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpfull, providing maps and transport timetables.Hotel Management was a bit austere.
The price, Hotel overpriced for facilities took significant advantage of Trade show at Messe. I would look for an altrnatively priced hotel before booking this hotel and would recommend colleagues to do so as well!
